Manually, the inspection plug can be screwed into the cut thread up to two turns without excessive force. If it screws in further, the thread does not meet the required standards (rejected). The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent lab following specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC thread scanners.
- Hand Test for Gewinde Quality: The Ausschusslehrdorn can be screwed into the cut Gewinde by hand, up to two turns without extra force
- Gewinde Quality Indicator: If the Lehrdorn screws in further, the Gewinde does not meet the desired standards (Ausschuss)
- Reference Temperature: The Werkstücke and Lehren have a reference temperature of 20°C
- Manufacturer's Calibration Certificate: VÖLKEL offers a Werkskalibrierschein upon request (price available on inquiry)
- Independent Calibration: The calibration is done in a lab independent of VÖLKEL's production, following the set norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescannern
